Bill’s Story
The women in Bill Massey’s life told him he had no choice but to to go Louisiana Heart Hospital for his heart surgery. Doctors at other hospitals had given up. Using innovative technologies delivered with care by Dr. Ali Amkieh and his team not only saved Bill’s life, it kept the women in his life happy. And, of course, proved them right.

Nicole’s Story
Nicole Berberovich was a wife, new mother and dedicated nurse at Louisiana Heart Hospital when she was diagnosed with melanoma. Fellow nurses, Lisa Charouleau and Yvonne Smith organized a benefit to help cover expenses for her care. The benefit took on a life of its own and shows how the doctors, nurses and staff at the hospital rally as a team.
